Privacy notice
This page explains exactly what the catering request form on this website collects, where it goes, and how long it stays there.
About this build
This website is an unsolicited concept built on spec. Southern Charm Espresso & Catering did not commission it and has not reviewed it. This notice describes what the code on this site does; it has not been approved by the business and must be reviewed before any real launch.
What the catering form collects
Only what is needed to price and schedule an event:
- Your name.
- A phone number to call you back on.
- An email address, if you choose to give one — it is optional.
- The date of your event and a rough guest count.
- The type of event and the kind of service you are after.
- The event location, as much or as little as you want to say.
- Anything you type into the free-text notes box.
There are no other forms on this site, and no field asks for payment details, card numbers or any government identifier. Do not put payment information into the notes box.
Where it goes
A submitted request is written to a Cloudflare D1 database owned by the business. Only a signed-in admin can read requests back; the form itself is write-only for the public, which means one visitor cannot read another visitor's request.
While this site is still a concept build with placeholder configuration, the form validates your entries but sends nothing anywhere. It says so on screen when you submit.
What it is used for
Quoting and scheduling your event, and contacting you about it. That is the whole list. Your details are not sold, rented, or handed to anyone for advertising.
Tracking
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no advertising trackers, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from third parties. Links to Facebook and Yelp are ordinary links — those sites have their own privacy practices once you follow them.
How long it is kept
Requests stay in the database until the business deletes them from the owner dashboard. A retention period should be agreed with the owner before launch, and this paragraph updated to state it.
Getting your request removed
Call (253) 314-8191 and ask for your catering request to be deleted. It can be removed from the dashboard immediately.
Changes
If this notice changes, the revised version replaces this page. Because this is a spec build, the business should review and adjust this whole page before it goes live.
